After Hours & Emergency Pet Euthanasia
We understand that things don’t always go to plan, and sometimes pets can deteriorate more quickly than expected.
Our veterinarians are available 24/7 for urgent and after hours at-home euthanasia. We’re a small, two-vet team, so when you call you’ll speak directly with an experienced veterinarian, not a call centre. We’ll take the time to listen, answer your questions, and help you decide on the kindest next step, with no pressure.
In many situations we can attend on short notice, often within about an hour of your call, and care for you and your pet in the comfort of your home.
What to expect
You call and speak with a vet. If a home visit is right for your pet, we come to you, take our time, and guide you through every step. We can also help arrange cremation with the provider of your choice.
If your pet is in distress
If your pet is comfortable and stable, waiting for a home visit may be appropriate. If they are struggling to breathe or in uncontrolled pain, we can help you decide whether an emergency hospital is the safest option.

We’ll tell you the cost on the phone before you book, so there are no surprises.

When might urgent help be needed?
Sometimes a pet’s condition can change very quickly. You may need urgent veterinary support if your pet is experiencing:
Sudden deterioration
Difficulty breathing
Significant pain or discomfort
Difficulty standing or walking
Inability to settle or rest comfortably
Not eating or drinking for days
