Dr. Anthony Cassimatis
CO-FOUNDER & VETERINARIAN
It would be difficult to find an individual with a greater passion towards animal care than Dr. Anthony. With a deep-rooted passion that began at just twelve years old, he entered the veterinary industry as a volunteer veterinary nurse, a role he continued for twelve more years while completing his veterinary training.
After graduating. Dr. Anthony worked as a small animal veterinarian for eighteen months before founding SuperVets - a mobile house call veterinary service that quickly evolved into a 24/7 emergency and critical care hospital in Brisbane’s Bayside area. As the need for compassionate, accessible care grew, so did SuperVets, expanding to include a second hospital in Hendra.
After decades of providing home to hospital preventative health, emergency and critical care, Dr. Anthony has shifted his focus toward driving meaningful change across the entire animal healthcare system.
Part of this mission, is his commitment to providing gentle, dignified end-of-life care for pets - honoring the special bond between pets and their families, and the final moments that matter.

Dr. Mina Cassimatis
CO-FOUNDER & VETERINARIAN
Dr. Mina Cassimatis has had a lifelong love for animals, shaped by growing up with two German Shepherds. This early bond inspired her to pursue veterinary medicine at the University of Melbourne, where she also worked at the RSPCA, fostering and rehabilitating animals—including injured turtles—deepening her appreciation for the human-animal connection.
After graduating in 2011, Mina spent four years as a small animal veterinarian, before joining a global pet food company, where she spent nearly a decade focusing on pet nutrition and education. As a key spokesperson, she regularly presented at conferences and appeared in media.
Now, alongside her husband, Dr. Anthony Cassimatis, she is dedicated to ensuring that every pet’s final moments are as peaceful and comforting as possible, surrounded by those who love them. With her own beloved 20-year-old dog, Phil, at home, she has a deep passion for palliative care and is committed to helping pets maintain quality of life—whether in their final months or final moments.
